Timothy P. Meyers

Tim has had many adventures in a proactive life. He has lived everywhere from Bourbon Street, New Orleans to Whangamata, New Zealand, from a beach in Mexico to a yacht in the Pacific Ocean. Adventures include scuba diving, prospecting for gold, traveling throughout Mexico, Central America, New Zealand and Australia and sailing yachts in the Pacific . The preeminent adventure is being married to his wonderful wife for 33 plus years raising 5 amazing children. His latest adventures include taking his sail boat down the Mississippi River and doting on his first grandchild.

Meyers graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with post graduate studies at Rockhurst University. His career began with an accounting firm in Kansas City, MO that later merged into the international CPA firm KPMG. This was followed by positions in industry, with a hiatus of several years for traveling. The firm of Timothy P. Meyers & Co., P.C. was founded in 1987 and the tax/accounting practice has consistently grown since then. His public accounting experience is broadly based, having performed work for companies in a wide variety of industries including large construction, farming/ranching and manufacturing. The firm is heavily involved with smaller companies in performing tax and business advisory services.

The flair for proactive living flows over into everything Meyers does; including doing all he can to see that his clients succeed. Saving tax dollars is part of assuring that clients succeed and Tim takes a proactive approach in tax planning. He keeps current on legal tax planning issues and has attended the Academy of Certified Tax Coaches. The firm is able to create practical solutions for clients' complex tax and accounting issues.

Memberships include the AICPA and the Missouri Society of CPA's. As an active and contributing member of his community, Tim is a life member of Gideon International; he is a member and has held offices in the local Optimist Club, and is active in his local church. He also has served on various organization boards including City of Clinton Local Tax Committee, the City Board of Adjustments, Community Association of Regional Enterprises and the local housing authority.

Wayne B. Middlebrooks

Wayne has been associated with our firm since January 2005, focusing on performing audits and preparing tax returns. He graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1977 with a degree in Administration and a concentration in Accounting. He joined the firm of Schmidt & Co., CPA's, and retired from the firm in 2004. During his tenure with Schmidt & Co., Wayne was partner in charge of audits of utility companies and related organizations. He was also responsible for corporate tax returns of not-for-profit and for profit organizations. Wayne was a frequent speaker at seminars on a wide variety of subjects, including accounting matters, record retention, disaster recovery, paperless office procedures, tax return preparation and work order accounting. Since retirement, Wayne has continued his relationship with the utility industry as a consultant. We are appreciative of Wayne's abilities and talents and are glad he's part of our team!

Dan W. Asbill

Dan joined the firm in June, 2007 to perform payroll, bookkeeping and tax return duties. While attending Cloud County Community College he was an NJCAA academic All-American and co-captain for the Cloud County Thunderbird baseball team. He graduated magna cum laude from William Jewell College in 2007, where he earned a degree in accounting. Dan was a member of the Phi Epsilon Honor Society for being in the top 10% of his class and was on the Dean's list. He also earned honors as an NAIA scholar athlete for the William Jewell Cardinal baseball team, was a member of SIFE, and is a member of Delta Mu Delta international business honor society. While at Jewell he met a Clinton lady named Megan McCoy and they were married in November, 2007. Dan has enjoyed learning and growing in the firm and becoming a part of the local community.

T.J. Hoy

T.J. was a welcome addition to our firm in October of 2002, coming to us from a background of bookkeeping and payroll. She has been instrumental in the firm's continuing technological advancements and keeps us up-to-date with the latest software available. As a paraprofessional, T.J. is our lead bookkeeper, and is involved in payroll and record organization for tax preparation. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. She also provides notary service to our clients and is a QuickBooks Proadvisor assisting clients with QuickBooks advice and support. She and her husband make their home in Warsaw, Mo where they stay busy keeping up with their children and church.

Mark S. Meyers

Mark joined the firm in the Spring of 2013 to perform payroll, bookkeeping, and tax returns. Mark earned his BS in Business Management from University of Central missouri in 2013. At UCM he enjoyed competitive fencing, and spent his free time as the president of the disk golf club.

Jay M. Meyers

Jay joined the office in September of 2015 to manage the frontdesk. Jay provides a warm reception and a friendly corrospondence. While managing the front, Jay works on filing, scanning, and maintaining our electronice storage system and preparing our clients tax packages. Jay also manages our marketing and online profiles.

Lynn Faulkner
Receptionist/Bookkeeper (Retired)

After years of service Lynn is now happily retired and enjoying her new view from her home in California. Lynn had the pleasure of retiring during the Fall of 2015.
